A variety of Arabica coffee, Maragogipe is characterized by larger-than-average sized beans that resulted from a natural mutation of the more common Typica variety. The number 92 comes from the lot number that the Hartmann Family assigned to this batch of coffee cherries that they harvested and processed on their Santa Clara, Panama farm.
In our medium roast, we taste notes of green apple, black tea, and honey. We especially enjoy it as an iced pour-over that you may want to try at the Shared Space!
Freshly roasted coffee's flavors will evolve over time. For our roasts, we find that our beans taste best when you brew them between 1 week to 6 weeks after the roasting date indicated on the bag.
